Turn
Salvation is deliverance from sin and all its consequences through faith in Christ Jesus.
St. John 3:3-7
Romans 6:23
Sin is transgression against God's divine law.
James 4:17
-1 John 5:17
Repentance means not only being sorry for sin, but to turn from and forsaking the old life (sin habits) for a new walk by faith in God through the Holy Spirit and in company with the people of God (Acts 2:42). The result of repentance is salvation.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- Hebrews 11:1
Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God”
- Romans 5:1, 2. Justification is both a state and an act: without sin or offense towards God.
